Hi all,
New poster, I have a seamaster 300 caliber 8800 that has an issue where the date quick change happens at 6ish instead of 12.
Would anyone know what the problem might be?
Watch is under warranty so a repair should be covered right?
Thanks

The hands have been installed at the wrong time - the crown is usually progressed until the date changes over which indicates 12am.
Pull the stem in this position and install the hands pointing at midnight.
Sounds like the watchmaker putting this together did the first step but installed the hands at 6 rather than 12.
Should be a quick fix once you get it sent back
Thanks for the replies.
I have the warranty card so is it just a matter of bringing it to an Omega AD and let them take care of it?
Does a repair take long?
I had a similar issue with the same model watch recently. In my case the date was failing to automatically move forward full stop. Fully repaired under warranty, the AD quoted up to 10 weeks, but it was back in 2.

I remember someone with a new Explorer 1 who posted with a similar issue on the old Timezone forum, except that his date was changing at midday instead of midnight!
Omega are good at prioritising warranty work. An issue with one of my watches was turned around in just under two weeks.
