Not so keen, I’m afraid………
That blue colour seems so ‘false’ for a high-end watch. I think Panerai uses similar and to me. - looks shonky
Lots of BREMONT designs I like - but not this one.
I’m a fan of the Bremont brand and like this personally. The movement could be better but it’s something rare and different to your usual £4K mainstream watch. Thoughts?

Hmmm. So close…
I am a fan of the S500 but I think this should have kept the lumed bezel and and whilst I like a California dial on a PAM I don’t think this quite works, I like the black and blue colour scheme though.
It’s the first time I have seen blue coloured lume that actually glows well. That’s a bonus.
I think I like it, spent many a day in Bamfords place and always enjoyed the detail of the office from the gradient wallpaper to the quirky and iconic ornaments that adorn the offices on all floors. I was never a huge fan of them customising Rolex as I feel that its a brand that doesn’t need pimping but this one off from Bremont / Bamford works for me if it is a one off and its priced right which is refreshing.

I agree, although the Cali dial kills it for me personally.
I think the cali dial elevates it from meh to ooh. I like it.
Looks good and sensibly priced as well.
Not my thing at all I'm afraid, but it surely wasn't aimed at me.
Ticks three of my 'do not buy' markers:
- black case - I love to look at them but don't wear them
- 'that' blue - I'm from the red part of Manchester
- Cali dials - never understood the attraction
but my tastes are not your tastes.
I think it looks well executed - if you like it, buy it.
I like a Cali dial, but that's a reverse Cali dial, isn't it? There's a lot going on there. The blue, the dial, the sandwich lume, the crown position, the PVD. Very busy.
Edit - OK, no, maybe not. Which way rough should Cali dials be? Nomos and Panerai do things differently.
I’ve ordered one. Some great views on here; good to see the forum is still alive and kicking, and even better to see some familiar names.
My thoughts on the blue are positive, as it’s got a reason to be there thanks to Bamford being involved. If it was a non-collab model I’d probably still like it though to be fair.
The black case being PVD isn’t my first choice, but then I don’t have any black watches right now, so it’s nice and different. I wish it had a date, and a longer power reserve, but otherwise I feel it’s a nice option in a pretty “samey” watch sector at the £3-5000 mark.
Love it - love the S500, love the colour scheme, love the quirky Cali layout, if it was full ceramic rather than PVD, I'd probably be 'consolidating' (selling at a loss) part of my collection (random assemblage) to buy one.
Two polarising brand coming together. I approve.
It feels a bit like a partser with the main dial numbers' font not tying in with the chapter ring and bezel. The light blue on black also feels rather like those SAS tribute/Walt watches.
I like the S500, like DLC, don't mind the blue. But don't like the Cali dial. So not for me. If it had some sort of baton markers or all Arabic numerals I'd like it.
interesting , a pal has one and i didn’t realise Bamford was one who modded them

I could care less for Bamford, but I really like this watch. The only sticking point for me is that the last S500 I had on my wrist was the Project Possible which sadly felt a little too tall. I don't know if the DLC may make it appear less so.
I like the S500 but this is awful.
51mm lug to lug and 16.5 thick!
a no for me
Cali dial, PVD/electric blue, sandwich dial - should this have been called the Bremarai? Paneront?
Like the S500 but not a fan of cali dials on watches with rotating bezels.
Ooooh yes I like this!
Obviously a polarising design.
I find it hideous.
Cheers,
Neil.
Whilst I like a lot of stuff that Bremont have done, this is just awful to my eyes.
When you look long into an abyss, the abyss looks long into you.........
I like almost everything about it, with the sole issue for me being the California dial.
I hope it meets your expectations and that you enjoy it, Wayne. Wouldn’t life be boring if we all liked exactly the same stuff??
Simon
Good to see the OP has ordered one, I look forward to seeing real world pics and reading some initial thoughts.
If the colour was orange or yellow, then this would be a winner for me, but the blue just doesn't look right .. as a rule, I just don't think black and blue go well together & I've yet to see a watch that changes my mind.
/vince ..
Hi Wayne
That looks really nice to me. Enjoy it.
Cheers

Roman numerals on a diver? And mixing them too? I’m out.
Quite like that, one of the better bamfords I’ve seen.

I like a lot of bamford creations. But this one is trying way too hard
It’s not for me, but I can see it’s appeal.
I’ve never really understood the California dial and that it’s so often used.
I ordered one, but wanted to change my payment method so asked them to cancel it. Which they've now done, but it seems to have sold out on their website now. My indecision wins again!
edit: spoke to them on web chat and they confirmed bremont direct has sold out, and told me to go to goldsmiths or beaverbrooks. Both of whom seem to have sold out... I'd use Jura but I hate them so I guess I've saved 4 grand lol

Far too big for me but I like the design. Sandwich Cali dials are ace.
As a big fan of the Bremont case, I'd like it better with a blue anodised mid so it stand out a bit more.
One already up for sale on eBay (for a ridiculous mark up). Dial as a lot duller than I imagined.
Did they tell you that all their shops are sold out of their allocation or was it only their online stock? You might find that the physical stores have them in stock still.
The same happened with the Endurance, it was sold out but when Bremont says their watch is "sold out" it's means they've sold their direct to customer stock and sent all their watches to dealers. Phone around you'll probably find one.
Emailed them this morning "yes, we have one in stock, would you like to come and look at it?" replied yes, and off I tootled into Birmingham to take a look. Got there and asked to see it - "we sold it yesterday, sorry". So that was a waste of time, and yet another dealer who can go on my ever growing list of places to avoid in future.

Walked past the local Bremont boutique this afternoon, Stupidly enquired if they had any "just out of curiosity" This is the result! I like it, thats all that matters to me.
Exactly my point
Another No here, based off the photos. Maybe it looks better in real life.
