Managed to pick this up from eBay
Will go nicely with solar Tuna I bought him last year.
Also awaiting the new Arnie to come in with Seiko to buy him to match the one he passed down to me.

I have an endless hankering for Seikos. I’ve got a Seiko 5 that I’m picking up tomorrow, and have just bought a Seiko Lord Matic on eBay. The Lord Matic needs the quick day/day fixing (the usual breaking part for the 56 model).
Looking forward to opening it up and trying to fix it.
never tried an Nomos on but the dial does sing to me with its minimalist style and the colour wowzer

There’s a company in Australia that do, but they’re about £40.
I’ve stumbled across a forum post where someone has fabricated their own replacement using a piece of brass and some files.
I might give that a shot in the first instance. I fee whilst it’d be a challenge, it would be very rewarding too.
Quick pick, Not planning on fully unwrapping until later. Wasn’t really planning on picking up the PRX until I tried it on in store and really liked it.

Surprised to see you slumming it with a Tudor, Gareth. Great watch and like mine a lot albeit on rubber.
Oranges, the Sub 41 ND is pure perfection. Would be the last of mine to go.
Arrived yesterday off Bazza. Surprised it never went sooner. Their loss my gain I suppose.
Good quality watch

Black Bay Pro.
Tried it on release and wasn't so sure. Realised I may have made a mistake so managed to pick this one up from the second batch at the local AD.
I would like it a bit thinner tbh but overall very pleased with the vintage explorer look and legibility.
that seamaster is gorgeous

Excellent, good to know that someone is doing this! I didn't know this before.
Just Googled and I think this is them: Vintage Time Australia
Wow, I think that would require more patience than I could muster. Good luck!
Delighted with this one, thought I had missed the boat and love the dimensions and tropic strap, was worried it was going to feel small

Not the picture of the actual watch as it's not arrived, but I've got one of these coming.
Historically it came out before the Patek's Nautilus & Vacheron's other sports watch the 222.
Just need a 222 then I'll complete the historical time line of Vacheron's steel sports watches.

Someone who lies about the little things will lie about the big things too.
^^^ Is that a Bremont?
Rather nice, actually. Congratulations. :-)
What an amazing watch . It was on my radar but I thought I’d missed the boat too. Maybe I need to start searching again.
