    Hi

It is Youngs brand concentrated Chinese curry mix. I usually ad some mushroom soy to flavour and darken it down a bit.

Not very weird, but I’ve always loved strawberry jam on Digestive biscuits. Not sure how it started but I still love them today

Katsu curry paste or sauce blocks do a reasonable impression.

Toasted wholemeal bread (no butter) good sized piece of Stilton and a poached egg sitting on it covered with Pikantny, I have two of these most mornings for breakfast :)

50% of the strange stuff above seems pretty normal to me.

Beans on cheese on toast with a few dollops of mayo on top...lovely !

Mince pie with blue cheese such as Stilton.

Or the classic pork pie and chutney sandwich.

Giant spicy Yorkshire pudding (home made, with turmeric, chilli powder and garam masala included) with curry or chilli......the ultimate cultural crossover food!

I just also remembered a sandwich I used to make:
Brown seeded bread, chopped onion, cheeese-cream or spread, mayo, peanut butter-crunchy. In fact if my dinner wasn't due in an hour or so I'd have one now, yum yum.

    Thanks both, not tried either.

Used to work in a uni placement for Dalgety Food Ingredients, who made the flavours - used to have loads of it about & always made a batch up to dunk my lunchtime sandwich into.

Best part of the left over chip shop sauce is a dirty toasted sandwich being dunked into the reheated sauce the following day, mmmm!

Apparently, fruitcake and Wensleydale is a thing in Yorkshire and Lancashire. Can't imagine it, myself.

Similarly a fruited tea cake (untoasted) buttered with cheddar cheese or similar. Surprising nice.
