Anyone seen any definitive info on whether this bracelet would fit a BB58?
I called an AD yesterday afternoon and picked one up on a bracelet 24 hours later. I’m a big fan of the 1016 (and own one) but feel uncomfortable wearing it regularly. The Ranger is not a bad watch at all but the faux lume lets it down. The dial looks a bit budget under direct light too. I think the printed numerals are a touch too large. The phallus hour hand is divisive but it’s a grower (pun intended). Bracelet and clasp is rather good (thank god the rivets have gone) and the case is rock solid - exactly like the BB58. Would have liked polished flanks though and a polished bezel. It’s a decent watch for the money but doesn’t fire up the loins.

Also the dial has way too much empty space on it.

A poster on WUS has just made the swap and the Ranger bracelet first the 58 perfectly!!
Only issue is the link sides are brushed on the Ranger bracelet so would not match the finish on the BB flanks but that wouldn't bother me.

Ok so Ranger bracelet fits bb58 confirming it’s the same case - tried the ranger bracelet on the pro but it doesn’t work - end links aren’t high enough
That's a graphic illustration of the pro's heft!
I really do like the look of the new Ranger however, the 39mm size is the killer for me, too much empty space on the dial.....would have been perfect if it has been released in 36mm.
We’re a funny lot - always complaining about too much text on a dial, now complaining about not enough! I am surprised there’s no mention of the cosc certification on the dial though, is that a first for a cosc certified Tudor/Rolex product? - as an aside why is 39mm too big? - a lot of people seem to think the BB58 is too small, but I’ve been wearing mine daily for a couple of months now and it’s perfect on my nearly 9 inch wrists now I’m used to it, it fits the style of the watch imho. Perhaps it’s just because of my wrist size but 36mm watches look a bit odd on most peoples wrists imho

Why am I now contemplating buying both and selling the ranger head only???
I never said it wasn't. Behave.
Does the bracelet hue match the 58 blue or black as the blue has a slightly lighter colour?
There's a new youtube video featuring the new Ranger from Worn and Wound here: https://youtu.be/_VKFDpkqJqQ
The dude recons the Ranger wears 'smaller than the 58 due to lack of bezel'. I don't get that at all. In my experience slim non diver bezels make a watch wear much larger.
I will be asking my AD if they can order a ranger bracelet for my 58 at some point in the week.
Look forward to an update on this.
Correct there are inconsistencies. I have a watch in with them for service at the moment and asked if I could purchase the original nato and leather. They said only one or the other as it needed to be fitted to the watch on purchase. Very weird.
There was a video on this awhile back (Bark & Jack I believe). Apparently the blue was marginally lighter. To be honest I just wrote it off as it being a newer watch and assumed a black/blue bought at the same time would be the same, but perhaps there's something more to it.
Fair enough. I always thought that the blue was lighter steel than the original black 58. Youtuber Bark and Jack first suggested the bracelet colour differences here: https://youtu.be/q6ktDytrQyg
Funnily enough I have a Mark18 and 18cm wrists (5.5 cm edge to edge) and the Mark18 wears fine, even with it's slim bezel and 50mm lug to lug height, there's something about the flieger design that works at that size. In stark contrast, the Datejust41 feels far too big for my wrists despite a smaller lug to lug height than the Mark18.
Should it sell well we are going to see a 36mm version next year or so

Hmm. If it’s easy to get a Ranger bracelet and I can pick up a BB58, that combo could well be on my horizon very soon.
I want to like this watch but the lume colour and 39mm size are enough for me not to buy it. I am hoping Tudor upgrade the BB36 Steel like they did the Steel & Gold version with the newer movement and t-clasp on the jubilee bracelet. That’s the watch I am waiting for.

I think if it was 36mm I'd be buying one.
