    A Fictitious Watch Story

If you know what i mean. Watches. Here's my story

Today you fall in love with a IWC 3717. six months later, you fell out of love with it cos another Bigger and Beefier Watch keeps turning your head and you refuse to let it go away. So in came the Pam176. After a while, you yearn for a white dial sports watch and the Rolex EXP II isn't that far off from your comfort price range so you snap one when the wife wasn't looking to balance out the dominant black dial watches in your closet.

However, you feel that the collection is not complete as you can't dive with those leather strap watches. So you tried to be Bond and got a PO. After buying the PO, you realise that the real Mccoy isn't a Omega but a Rolex Sub 5513/5517 while reading through TZ-UK. Painfully, you searched forums for that elusive one 5513 and managed to get one which cost you an arm and a leg.

Staring at the dial of the 3717, you find it too cluttered so you figured that what you really wanted is a pilot automatic watch and off you go to the dealer to take that IWC MK XVI that is tag with a price you can't refuse and this is not the end. What's a flieger without those historical pocket movement. You can't afford anymore IWCs so you ordered and waited 9 months for the Stowa AO Serial Flieger.

Thats the story of my collection. Order of watch purchase not in order of story and watches are weaved into the plot but you get the point.

    Enjoy the pics.

Great collection .. great story (fictitious or not) .. difficult to pick a favourite, but that flipped IWC comes close .. although I'd not turn down any of them!

I'd hate to be with you when you're on your own.

Good story and a great collection. Love the IWC and it makes me realise my collection is definitely missing an IWC.....
