Haveston canvas straps - long term durability test

Is there anything like this that is 2-piece?
I am trying to avoid adding height to an already tall chrono.

There were sellers on ebay doing canvas straps when I started looking a while ago, but a better bet (quality wise) might be the ones that WatchGecko do.
