I always use BlackCircles, they tend to be quite good price wise and normally deliver quickly.
My mechanic only stocks cheapy Landsail tyres, prefer something a bit better if possible, unsure best way to go about it. Do people use blackcircles and just use one of their trusted fitters?

I use Black Circles, great prices. You can choose either way on the website when you start the process of ordering, fitted or supply only.
I bought tyres (Pirelli PZero) from 123 tyres and was very happy. It seems they have a uk operation. You order the tyres and select one of their partners local to you. The tyres are delivered in 2 or 3 days - from Germany I think, the tyre fitter phones you to say they have arrived and you make an appointment. Couldn't be simpler. Or cheaper

I order online from tyre shopper. They are owned by National Tyres and the delivery and fitting is done at your local National Tyres branch. Found their prices among the lowest online.
The price is fully fitted including wheel balancing and disposal of your old tyres

dedicated tyre fitting and repair businesses are the best way, if they dont have the one you want they will order it in for you
I ordered and paid for some campervan tyres from BC and they were fitted by local Halfords.
It pays to shop around. Last time I ended up at KwikFit, who were cheaper than Black Circles as they had a deal running.
I've used Camskill before too. Ordered for delivery and then had them fitted locally. Price is usually good

On line also i have used Asda tyres and ATS .
Used BlackCircles last time - good price and delivered and fitted by a local garage that I trust.
Will be using them again from now on.
blackcircles or costco for me
I use an independent tyre specialist.Always helpful and honest along with good prices.
I've used Wraysbury tyres, my local independent for around 30 odd years. Always top quality work and they'll fit anything you like.
Cheers,
Neil.
Costco, they sell Michelin fitted for less than my local indy can buy them from his wholesaler.
Costco PS4s were the cheapest I could find in UK this time last year.
I’ve been using Costco for the last few years.
Always purchase when they have an offer on which knocks another few quid off. Plus you get nitrogen, hmmm nitrogen.
Black circles for me also. Pretty straight forward and decent prices.

+1 for Black circles. Normally change between winter and normal tyres as a legal requirement here (Italy). Found out all-season are legal and went for a set of Yokohama tyres. Lack of snow and cost of changing tyres twice a year aiding the decision.
I also use Black Circles and use the local affiliated fitter.

Last time I got my best offer from Asda tyres for these :
Michelin Pilot Super Sport 225/40R18 92Y XL - £125
Michelin Pilot Super Sport 245/35R18 92Y XL - £175
Saved me about £200 on other quotes & were fitted by appointment with a local tyre fitter ( in Glos. )
No complaints.

Black circles and I think ASDA tyres are owned by Michelin.
Make if that what you will. They both give good prices but Oponeo, Camskills and other Google search choices are good places to look.
Update
ASDA tyres is owned by Colewood.
In any case, find a big independant tyre fitter. A non networked garage and chat nicely to them in person. They'll usually quote a good price on person on the day.
Lots of stuff suggestions above. As always, the answer is shop around if you want the best price.
Kwik Fit was cheapest for me. As said, just shop around for your particular tyres and use Quidco/TopCashBack if you can.
I did use black circles in the past but recently used Costco, the service and price were excellent, I got 4 Michelin Cross Climate 2s which are rated as one of the best all round tyres, price included fitting, nitrogen charging and all bolts torqued up to the correct spec and the receipt had a advisory notes on wheels condition etc, £275 all in for 4 205/55/16..
Costco if possible. I don't go anywhere else.
When paying myself I use a local independent, who has got fairly close to Black circles prices or even bettered in the past.
With the lease car it has to be Kwik fit which would be my last choice if I was paying myself
Camskill, Black Circles, MyTyres are all great, until it goes wrong...
After 15 months, my all-season tyres started perishing on the sidewalls, unnoticed by me until it was an advisory on the MOT. On closer inspection, by looking in to the small cracks, you could see the white of the chords, so in fact, it was actually an MOT fail on all 4.
Because they were bought online, the pain of the logistics to get new tyres fitted ASAP locally, old tyres removed, couriered from here in the Highlands, which then had to get sent to Camskill, which they then sent to Germany for destructive testing, with an exclusion list as long as your arm, it was very likely I would get nothing back after all the costs of logistics, despite the fact the tyres had over 6mm of tread left.
Long story short, I wish I had just bought with my local tyre specialist for a couple of quid more at the time, who would have stood by the tyres they had fitted and swapped over with ease.
Used oponeo.co.uk several times- no complaints at all .....
I used Protyre for my XJ - £750 for Dunlops at each corner with a bit back from TCB, which was easily the cheapest at the time. They use a network of local garages/tyre centres, one of which was only 3/4 mile away :)
i find tyres on the drive to be the best, price and they come to your work to install
These were quick, efficient and good value...

Blackcircles for price but I did have them change the fitting centre on an order which was a pain to sort out. Local tyre fitter for the best service.
The Costco offer is back on, save up to £100 when buying 4 or £50 when buying 2?
I actually looked at Halfords last week for some. They were £65 for the fronts and £75 for the rears more expensive for each tyre than from the Mercedes main dealer. Went to the local guy for convenience and still saved over £200 on the set compared to Halfords.
