No direct experience of the watch, but I would be mindful that if a pin fails the watch may end up on the floor or worse. For the sake of a tenner I would get an original.

Mrs C's bracelet needs a link putting back into it.
Long story short...... whoever removed the link 10yrs ago never put the pin back into the link.
Tenner seems a bit salty for a link pin. Or would that be the going rate?
I have found cheaper in ..........China!
Any input would be appreciated.

I’m sure there is an additional metal tube which inserts into the middle of the link for the pin to pass through. I could be misremembering though as it’s been years since I changed one.
I’d go into an AD, they should have a Chanel “toolkit” which would have spare pins etc in.
Thanks for the responses.
Aye probably a tenner is worth it for some kinda piece of mind, HP.
Not sure about the Tube you mention, 223 but will explore a bit further.
pacci, something for "free" no charge. Now that's a pleasant thought.
Cheers all.
Whatever you do, don’t go down the path of non OEM. It’s not worth trying to save a few bob. We did and ended up going through an AD to get what we required. Easy to install yourself if you have a small tool kit of watch type appropriate items

Still struggling with this.....
E Jones in B'mouth have tried to help but are looking for a "H" number off the case back to go any further, but there isn't one.
Apparently they have been liaising with their Manchester outlet but without this "H" number are unable to assist.
Otherwise they have suggested that the whole watch goes back to Chanel.
Frustrating to say the least.
Anybody got any other suggestions?
Cheers!
HAGWE.
The H number may be on the paperwork or warranty card,my wife has one of these ,I’ll be home in a couple of days, I’ll take a look, she may even have some spare links.
