Odd question... But has anyone here done a submariner on a rubber strap? Or is that like not a thing?
I have a 16610 I was thinking I'd like to try on rubber.

A great combo for the bronze case (is it bronze?)!

Citizen Challenge Diver on Joseph Bonnie Tropic.
Totally made for each other!
Rain stopped play on my outdoor jobs today so I took the time to play with some straps. My B42 has been on a fair few over the years.

A padded tan gator pattern:
Following a WTB, forum member Slevin Kelevra pointed me at CN Straps where I picked up a couple of NATOs, a Tropic and a couple of MN style straps including this one:
These two Cordes David straps both work well.

I do like a rally/racing type strap on a Speedmaster.
Bonzodog prompted me to try a black Finstrap on my Nomos. I think it works well.

I’ve had a genuine Eulit Perlon sitting in the watch drawer for ages. So I tried it on my modded Seiko
By Jove ! I think I’ve found a great combo here.
No idea why I hadn’t tried it before.

Same strap, but courtesy of shop window summer sun, Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde
Adds something prehistoric to the strap. Like it’s unconventionality in a relatively conventional model.
Thanks. I did like the unplanned rad nature of alligator, which is arguably prehistoric, and something looking even more so on the other wrist.
This is the Glacier Blue, so came with a greyish-brown suede strap, which will look better with a tan.
So good that I'm cullling about 85% of the other pieces.
Usually I think it doesn't matter what others think of a watch (if the owner loves it, that's it), but this one thread I think would be great with a 'Like' button as some other forums have.
Since the person posting the pic thinks the combination is perfect, it would be interesting to see how many others think so. (It would also save me cluttering up the thread with lots of comments of 'really nice!'). There are some great combos on here, but also ones that I think 'huh' - and wonder if that's only me and others really like it.
Do enjoy this thread though, one I often look at and get some ideas.
Was in London this weekend so went into Chopard for a strap change. Id ordered the strap for the black titanium time traveller one as its bit more casual than the alligator that comes with the steel variant.
Im really pleased with the result.
It looked like kevlar online but it's actually a patterned rubber with a calfskin back and the grey stitch matches the night-time part of the 24hr bezel perfectly.
Really nice
I picked up a snoopy strap for my blue seamaster, I think it works really well….not my pic, but same.

Don’t think this looks too shabby on a CWC Natostretch, super comfy!
