Watchmaker on the US West Coast?

    Hello All,

I plan on giving my brother the SB-III for Christmas. From what I gather in the Timefactors watches section of this forum, the SB-III may have a tendency to run fast. Which means my brother may have to have the watch regulated after it's "broken in". He's not a WIS, but sending it halfway around the world for this seems a bit funny to me.

Would anyone happen to know a good watchmaker on the US West Coast, preferably LA area? Any lead would be greatly appreciated - thanks in advance!

Heard about this shop 5-6 years ago, tried to stop by once but they were closed, so I know them only by reputation, but they're supposed to be good.

http://www.watch2works.com/ The Watchworks in Solvang, California (roughly 1.3 hours very beautiful/scenic drive north of LA along the coast ~15' north of Santa Barbara). Tell your brother to make a weekend of it. Highly recommended sightseeing and wine tasting area.
