.. and great soundtrack .. always nice to hear a bit of Julian Cope.

Just watched the 'The Rescue', a documentary which chronicles the rescue of the twelve boys from the flooded Thai cave.

Just amazing to watch, and I had no idea how they actually got them out.

As someone who has dived before and been through a panic episode, it really brings home just how truly amazing the rescue was. I won't spoil it, but it almost pushed the boundaries of belief.

Unfortunately it is on National Geographic, and I have it as part of my Disney+ package.

Agreed ^^^^^^^^ the lead is very true to his Fauda roots. We dont have Netflix at present, but when we swap our streaming aroun I will be looking for series 4

    Better

Better on iplayer, a crooked cop questions her relationship with a drug baron. Very gritty and moody.

Absolutely can't wait for this, by far the best of the Star Wars TV series (Andor aside). Looking forward to seeing where the story goes next!

Watched first couple episodes of Gold on iPlayer, really good crime drama - but as with any inspired by true events' worth looking up the facts afterwards so you aren't thinking of some of these characters as charming class warriors, as opposed to the nasty villains they really are.

We watched this over the weekend. Good but not in the same league as Line of Duty. At times lacked pace and if you counted the minutes camera was on Lou driving that Audi I expect you would fill one episode.

Left open for a second series and dare say I would be tempted to watch that

Probably been mentioned already in the thread but The Bear is fantastic TV. First episode is chaotic (in a good way) but settles somewhat afterwards.

Just started watching Formula 1 on Netflix and a very similar thing is happening there. No interest in that either but fascinating stuff. I think I just really like highly compatible things and maybe also non team type sports

Totally welded onto "Beyond Paradise", started tonight on BBC 1.

Let me build up the excitement: the bad points first.
    The storyline was shite.
    The acting was shite.

But outweighed by the good points:
Some lovely women in it, including the ever-delightful Sally Bretton, and that gorgeous Zahra Ahmadi, the café girl in Count Arthur Strong.

But the killer -it's filmed in Looe! Lovely Looe! Where I grew up. I have very fond memories of my adolescence in Looe.

This review may be a tad subjective.

It was pretty idyllic in the 1960s. The Bullers; the Blue Shark Club. I remember they once had a band from Torpoint on called "Rigor Mortis & the Gravediggers".
And the Ship Inn - "Folk Club every Thursday. All welcome - us locals and you visitors".

You could even fish from the Banjo Pier all year round in the 1960s.

The Marc Marquez documentary series All In (Amazon Prime) for those of you that follow Moto GP.

It's a good watch & has cemented my respect for the guy. Not sure I'll ever really call myself a fan, but I hope he does well this year & gives the Ducati army a hard time.

The Old Man on Disney +.

    Jeff Bridges is great.

    Well worth a watch.

97% on Rotten Tomatoes (albeit with limited reviews as it's only recently been released)

The legend of vox machina is amazing.

Arcane, whilst not new, is almost a 10/10.

Currently watching The Last of Us, so far it's a pretty good adaptation of the game.

Finished "The Consultant" on Prime; rather surreal but Christoph Waltz is as good as ever, doing a version of his usual character.

I'm a huge golf fan but found it a very slow watch. Maybe I need to give it more time but as much as I'm sure Justin Thomas and Jordan Speith are decent guys and amazing golfers its just so dull.

Enjoying the first episode of The Gold at the moment.

The whole of a New Order track before the title doesn't hurt for me!

I’ve started rewatching Prime Suspect (1990s) on ITV Hub and they’re really good although quite long winded at two x 2 hours.
