Daytona Exhibition Watch at Bullring Goldsmiths

Went in earlier today and they had a few SS models in as display watches including a Daytona inside the shop.
Since I have never seen a black dial in person I though it’s worth sharing incase someone wants to see one.

Sadly you can’t try it on, but there are other models such as BLRO, VTNR etc that you can handle.

Amazing, like a museum where you can touch some of the exhibits 🤣

Only a matter of time before they ask you to pay to see an exhibition model

The Rolex shop at Zurich airport last year were letting you try anything they had on display.

I tried a YG DD on a presidential bracelet, it was on my wrist for about 10 seconds, I didn’t like it at all.

And spent £40k on miscellaneous jewellery.

Please, please, can I view and try a watch that I can never buy.

    Don’t give them the satisfaction.

Sorry, they have a display model which potential customers can look at through reinforced glass but can't try on??? Regardless of my situation I would and will never ever buy a new Rolex. What a bizarre business model.

Next: the car dealership which shows you pictures then let's you "test drive" the car on a playstation copy of Gran Turismo before demanding an order.

That's why they don't want to let you try it on

I’ve rung and asked to be put on the list to be allowed to go and look, but not touch, the exhibition models. 18-24 month waiting list, apparently.
