    I have had a lot less issues with crowns ever since - you can guess why we had the conversation in the first place!
    Yes, I religiously wind the crown back before screwing down, usually you can feel the little click.
    Im fairly gentle with crowns, touch wood havent killed one yet.

    Quite possibly except when I wear my mine I sure do miss a date window. Perhaps the only thing stopping it being my perfect watch.

    That was something that always put me off.

    Now I don’t own any watches with date windows, and I always know the date! Quite liberating in the end.
