Over recent weeks I've developed a bit of an infatuation with MING watches. I find the designs to be beautiful, elegant (even the 18.01 H41 diver), consistent throughout the collection and wholly unique (at least in my experience anyway).
I remember Ming when he was a member here and I admire what he's doing; something very different in a market largely saturated with watches that are safe, derivatives....boring.
This is a good article: Why I started Making Watches – by Ming Thein | SJX Watches (watchesbysjx.com)
We have quite a few 'Let's see your....' threads here and they're among my favourites to peruse. So why not a MING thread? We'll have a one-stop-shop of beautiful images and helpful information.
Over to you

A timely thread as I was debating selling mine at the beginning of the year. But Worn it the other day for a work lunch - slips under the radar and under a shirt cuff in a sea of Rolexes. There were quite a few eyes wondering what it was! Think it might stay with me a little longer.
This was taken on a different day of course:
My now sold 18.01

I can't promise beautiful photos but these are mine.
37.05 moonphase, one of my favourites and will hang around for a long time.
17.09, now been taken by the other half.
17.09 Massena Honey, rare and and sold at a premium only an idiot would refuse. No regrets about selling it, cold hard cash heals all.
All going well, I'll pop into this thread again on Tuesday with another one.
Very nice. Never even heard of them. I'll have a read up
I'll make my many contributions over the coming days and weeks. This crappy pic for now!

Now gone, but this was my blue 17.09.
Recent delivery? What are your thoughts?
I got one of these as I really liked the look, knowing full well it will be to small for me (reason I sold my previous copper), but I love the look/design. Sill not delivered.
99% I will move it on as wearing 44-47mm watches I fear I won’t get on with it.

Yeah, delivered today. I like it a lot, but the GMT function is still to prove itself. Not a true GMT, and the small hand and hour markings count against it in that practical sense but let's be honest, we buy Ming because we like the aesthetics as much as the readability. With wear I'm sure it'll not become a problem.
Two of my favourite watches are 45 and 45.5mm so this is obviously smaller but I don't feel it too little.
It’s available from Ming - exactly the same material as the burgundy it came with and colour is dark blue. I got it off a forum member here.

Appreciate the reply. I will see when it arrives and see if it’s for me.
