I was really shocked to read this. TZUK has been such a big part of my life and for that I thank you. Will be rooting for you.
Not the best thread Eddie, so sorry to hear it.
Life can be tough but folk can be tougher and I see you as the latter.
Show it who's Boss.

Very sorry to hear this mate.
I myself had prostate cancer , 10 years ago at age 53. They kept saying it was a high risk cancer, as the cancer had spread to outer edge of prostate, and they didn't know if it had spread "outside" the prostate,
I had my prostate gland taken out, and was told Id "almost certainly" have to have radiation afterwards. Luckily I didn't need radiation, as the cancer hadn't spread, and all is OK now. I'm no doctor by any stretch of the imagination. all people have different cases etc, All I do know , and took great comfort in, is right from the very beginning, the docs, kept saying prostate cancer is "slow growing", and many people with prostate cancer . die with it, not because of it.. I mean they die of old age or something else..
I can imagine what you and your family are going through. Stay strong and positive,
All the best.
Sorry to hear this, and wishing you all the very best.
Having been through similar with close members of my family I can totally understand what you and your family must be going through at this worrying time Eddie. I’m so sorry to hear of this sad news and wish you all the very best for the 19th. Thinking of you and your family. All the best.

Very best wishes Eddie. TimeFactors and the TZ forums come a very distant way down your current priority list.
Echoing others before me, wishing you all the best and agreeing you must make yourself and your treatment the priority at this time.
Sorry to hear about this, and good luck fighting it.
All the best Eddie - stay strong fella. All of TZ is with you every step of the way.

Horrible news, Eddie. Fingers crossed for a more positive prognosis and treatment plan. I'm going through similar with my father at the moment (lung cancer, despite never having smoked) and we're currently awaiting the results of his third biopsy in the hope this will generate some useful info. It would be difficult enough on its own but, at the same time, my mother's been diagnosed with vascular dementia on top of her other ailments so she is currently consigned to a nursing home. It never rains etc... It goes without saying but make sure you prioritise your health above all else! Timefactors can wait.
As many have said, so sorry to hear this news Eddie. Stay strong and I hope that the various treatments go really well.
Good luck Eddie.
Sorry to read this, hope it’s manageable and you get well soon.
Really sorry to hear this news, hopefully when the shock of it subsides and you get more information it will be something you can deal with.
All the best and keep us updated..
All the best Eddie
Dan
Eddie,
Sorry for the news and that’s a lot to deal with buddy in the short time frame. Fingers crossed for the 19th and the future course of action.
Always here.
Sorry to hear that Eddie. I’m sure your Yorkshire grit will see you through.
Take care of yourself.
I'm sorry to hear this news. Wishing you the best outcome.
So sorry to hear this news, Eddie.
That drug is a chemotherapy, used for other cancers currently (as recommended by NICE)- this may be a new use for it- hope it is effective for you.
This is a nasty disease. If you're a chap over 50 (lot of us on here...) please get your PSA checked. Just ask your doc, and it's a blood test. The earlier it's caught, the better the chance you have.
I've lost one good friend to this bastard, and one who narrowly escaped (had a prostatectomy, signs good so far).
All the best, Eddie. Sad news to hear, Cancer is a swine.
Sad to hear this Eddie I wish you the best of luck with your future treatment. Lee
Best wishes to you Eddie and good luck with your treatment plan. Put your health first before anything else.
Best wishes Eddie, everyone will be rooting for you
Sorry to hear this, Eddie, Best of luck
Sorry to hear this.

Best wishes Eddie, easy for me to say but staying as chipper as you can always helps. As does being open.
Warmest regards
I'm sorry to read this. I hope the treatment goes well, and you're back to your normal self soon.
Sorry to hear that Eddie, most unpleasant news.
Wishing you all the best. Hopefully the email from the cancer trust proves fortuitous to your treatment.
So sorry to hear this Eddie.
All the best & positivity vibes for the 19th.
Sorry to read this. I was going to say forget about TF and concentrate on your health but, if you're like me, I often find work a distraction from worries so who knows what's best for you? A lot of folk on here will be thinking about you and wishing you the best.
