Not good news but the key thing is it's been identified and is being treated.
Whatever state the rest of the NHS is in, they do seem well geared up for this soft of thing so you should be in good hands.
All the best for the treatment.
So sorry to hear this Eddie, sending positive thoughts and vibes your way. Hopefully you get some more positive news as they investigate further.

Sorry to hear this Eddie. As others have already stated, it may not be curable, but it is manageable. Dad was diagnosed with it around 2015, still with us and we`ve been told it will be old age or the Parkinsons that finally gets him. Good luck and stay positive.
Keep fighting Eddie . Best wishes

Your post has served as timely reminder to get myself checked out, and of the TZ Fundraiser's support for Prostate Cancer UK.

Ralph Waldo Emerson: We ask for long life, but 'tis deep life, or noble moments that signify. Let the measure of time be spiritual, not mechanical.
Keep strong Eddie, a lot of good wishes coming your way.
Sorry to read this Eddie. Wishing you all the best.
Sorry to hear this Eddie, all the best.
Incurable doesn't mean the end of the world, attitude matters in these things far more than people realise.
Hoping you respond well to the treatment.
Wishing you nothing but the very best for this bolt out of the blue. Stay strong and be in good spirits.
It's a horrible cancer with minimal or no symptoms and even the PSA testing is an erratic indicator. Wishing you the very best Eddie. My father has it and was told by the specialist that many more die with it than die of it. Godspeed.
Very sorry to hear this. I wish you all the best.
Good luck with the treatment Eddie, all the best.
So very sorry to hear this Eddie. Wishing you the very best in getting the treatment required and a positive outcome.
Sadly lost my friend to a brain tumour this week. Cancer is cruel and complete cu#t.
Stay strong!

Sorry to read this Eddie. As shocking as the news might be, it is important not to assume the worst.
My dad had late stage prostate cancer diagnosed in 2006, he lived another 14 years. Some ups and downs, but he became grandfather during these years and he always said his final years with Thea were his best.
I wish you strength and good luck. Fight that bastard.
Someone who lies about the little things will lie about the big things too.
Really hoping for some positive news Eddie. The whole TZ community will be rooting for you

Where are you receiving treatment, are you confident that they are the best ?
I was diagnosed with prostate cancer at age 50, following a routine GP mot.
Following extensive mri and biopsy, this was regraded to BPH.
I can absolutely recommended the uro-genital unit at the Christie in Manchester.
Prof Noel Clark and the team are leading the world in both equipment and research.
If you have the option to select your care provider, I would suggest that Christie are best placed to help you with an advanced cancer.
They are based 10 min South of Manchester Piccadilly station.
In a 360', your treatment and outcome may well help the Christie with research.
As many have already said, i wish you well.
