Quite taken with this one, looks like it’s pretty faithful to the original.

Nice but here's similar from a company that also made aviation watches and at around a third of the price

Similar, but I like the reverse panda.

The Auricoste is closer to the P51 Mustang which is £4500

I like this one - new size 39mm - thoughts? Already offered 10% discount from Jura watches. Reviews out on the usual sites

That Citizen Cal 200 is a stunner! would prefer it on the intergrated bracelet of the original model though.

Like those very much, the proportions seems to suit the styling better, but quite a cheeky premium on the 2-tone model (>£1,000) given the goldy-lookin' bling is just plated SS...

Not sure if it's also a recent release, but the 2-register chrono has caught my eye as well -

...just not sure I'd be happy laying-out £4,200 for a mainstream Longines that'll depreciate like a wingless pebble...

Agreed! I preordered one of these a couple of days ago.
It’s practically identical to the 1968 original Seiko 5. I particularly like the use of the old Seiko 5 logo, the shaped date window, black day date discs and the blue “sports”.
One of the coolest re-issues Seiko have done imo!

Ye gods! I hadn't clocked that - that is patently absurd - my Sinn 756 chrono crams a strapon GMT module into 13mm and that looks a tall, slab-sided hunk of watch; 17mm is just crazy!

All very attractive, but I don’t think the Seiko bracelet will age well aesthetically, can’t help but think it has a slight early 00’s look to it.

New CW C60 Atoll looks great to my eyes, I've asked if the bracelet clasp is the same as the looooong one fitted to the Sandhurst, as it's a non starter for me if it is...

I've pulled the trigger on the white version. To me it's the best of a yacht master and polar mixed

I’m getting a bit itchy to order one! Could do with clearing out some space in the watch box though!
What was the issue with the clasp you mentioned?

I ordered a Sandhurst 38 on the bracelet but when it arrived the clasp was way too long and flat, so the bracelet was wider than my wrist and the links straight lined rather than wrapped around.

    The butterfly is almost flat...

Thanks for that - what an unpleasant clasp! You’d need to have fairly large and flat wrists to carry that off
By the look of it. I like it on the strap, but I certainly won’t bother with the bracelet if I do purchase.

I've gone for the orange rubber but have a generic shark mesh bracelet which I think would work really well if needs be, and I'll see if they rework the bracelet in the future

I really like the blue but the white looks great too and is probably a lot more versatile.
CW price point is definitely moving up but they seem to be brining out some great watches to justify that.

Despite the 15k made these are selling out fast even at pre order stage so anyone on the fence should get off it or possibly miss out.

Love it. Went to buy then realised that it'd just sit in a drawer like my other quartz pieces. For me at least, cheap and cheerful is a waste of money.

Any chance of a bundled Daytona or at least BLRO with it Ryan?? Bold purchase these days although the YouTube reviews are lovely.

I handled it and struggled to see the difference with the £450 model other than the weight.

I'd spend another £300 or so and get the Oris Propilot Kermit - that's a cracking watch.

Someone here has the same one in the silver. Kaiserpheonix i think. The differences on the silver are noticeable side by side in YouTube videos albeit up close but without the comparable in hand and in black it must just look like another gshock. Porter one would have been nice for a grand back in the day.

The MRG squares are lovely in my opinion. The differences are subtle, but there. Separate bezel in a deferent metal, much crisper case machining, construction and finishing - is this worth the premium, not sure!

Omega release 3 new versions of their world timer. Maybe the Ti version is interesting. Still a chunky watch!

Agree chunky. If they did a smaller version that would be a winner as the execution of the globe on the dial is great with superb detailing. Just IMHO too much like a hockey puck

I’m not usually a dive watch fan but these new and smaller 40mm Orient Makos are appealing, perhaps because there’s a hint of Explorer II due to the stainless steel bezel, and also because of the holiday beater £350 price.

Not sure about the salmon or supposedly on-trend purple, but there’s a rather nice dark blue too.

The Tudor releases look good but I could never wear a watch with redbull or a sailing team logo on it
I look forward to non branded version in future

Edit the more I look at these the less I like them. It’s not just the soft drink branding on them, I think they look kind of cheap in the pictures, I am not much of a fan of the original FXD and these look like a swatch version. Nope I will stick with the original Pelagos,
