These are so easy and taste the same as they do in the curry house, kids love to make them and they make the home curry seem a bit more authentic.

Coriander and cumin roti

Makes 12-16

Into mixing bowl:
400g plain wholemeal flour
1 teaspoon salt
3-4 teaspoons of cumin seeds
2 tablespoons of finely chopped coriander leaves

mix 2-3 tablespoons of olive oil in, and gradually add 250ml (8fl oz) warm water

Cover with a damp cloth and leave for 30 mins.
Heat a cast iron griddle pan/ heavy frying pan on a high heat.
Separate the mixture into a dozen or so balls and roll them out with a little flour.
Cook on each side for 1 minute or until brown at the edges.
Pile them in the oven on a plate covered in foil until ready to eat.

Next time i might experiment and add some coconut to the mix to sweeten it up.

Hope you enjoy!
