I heard it earlier. It’s appalling and brings VAR into disrepute in my opinion. How can anyone now believe that they’re making decisions for the right reasons? Also, betting companies (if they aren’t already) might feel they can get to officials in the VAR room with copious amounts of cash.

I’ve banged this drum for years and got laughed at on here . It’s corrupt, it’s too easy to manipulate and its purpose is undermined by the people that run it . This is just one example but there will be dozens of these calls made and no sound bite and whitewashing by Howard Webb and Gary Neville will fix it .

Keith Hackett, in the Telegraph, slides in studs-up -

    https://archive.is/QTlgi

Riley, Mason, Dean, Moss & Atkinson all catch it.

BTW, Taylor has two appointments this weekend: referee for B&HA v. WHUFC tomorrow & 4th official at Burnley v. AVFC on Sunday. Kerching!

Shudder to think what will happen when Luton come up against Haaland. They look appalling although we haven't seen them at home to be fair.

Yet this could still be a score draw.

The way Spurs are playing is so much more dynamic and entertaining to watch than last season.

No comparison, is there? We’ll only get better, too, as the players adapt to Ange’s style of play. Not sure that Richy is going to cut the mustard, though.

Bournemouth looking better under new management too.

He is and always has been garbage. He’s stealing a living. Weghorst would be an upgrade.

Spurs have played well today and could have had four or five. They look dangerous going forward. They should buy Toney this week.

Postecoglou didn't kiss a single Spurs player on the lips at full time. Terrible manager.

Says something for the Man U midfield when Rashford was the nearest ‘defender’ for the first goal.

Ramsdale has made some fairly big errors recently, I reckon Raya will get the shirt soon.

Havertz I agree with you though.

If Arsenal hold onto this I expect the celebrations from Arteta and the team to last until Monday.

City must be p*ssing themselves, Arsenal have spent £200m to make themselves worse.

Yeah his star is waning a bit. Maybe he's getting that 'big time manager' trait of being a complete bellend as part of the 'process'.

Thank god that we will not have to see any celebrations of the sort.

Arsenal have not managed to take maximum points against ten men whilst a very poor United have. Go figure.

Reports of Arsenal needing to raise £100m by the end of the transfer window by selling up to 9 players (interesting team valuation given the current market). Which 9 would you send packing?

Three games in and the die is already cast .
United have already had two huge decisions go their way to keep them relevant . The Onana non penalty was bad enough but St Marcus’s dive for the penalty was equally as bad .
Ten Hag is already walking a tightrope . He’s out of his depth .

Brighton v West Ham is already a great contest .

What's going on? Spurs are exciting to watch, West Ham are countering at light speed like prime Atletico. Are we in football's Upside Down?

Spurs need to score more goals than they are doing because a good team would have punished them this afternoon.

True enough. Still, its a vast improvement on the porridge football of the Maureen and Conte years.

I hope Richarlison has a minor injury and Dane Scarlett is given a chance. Harry Kane only came to the fore because Roberto Soldado failed to live up to his price tag.

    Looks like it!

Top of the PL on goals scored.

Beat Brighton 3-1 and beat Chelsea by the same score last week.

New signings looking the business especially Ward Prowse and more to come.

    Exciting times.
    Cheers,
    Neil.

    Premier League 2023-24

Foden played a blinder in the central role last week.

This week he's not in the starting 11...

Even more incredible is that you question Maddison's workrate

It's almost worth taking you off ignore to read the tosh you post (but not quite).
I think I can probably rest my case after three games.
