That's nothing. Spurs have spent over a billion quid since 2008 for no trophies

Wolves started impressively, pressing us in our own style of glory days gone by.

We are slow and laboured thus far.

    This is just for Zelig.

West Ham good value for their lead.

Sancho, Ronaldo and DDG. Of course.
I read today that Onana has faced 12 shots and conceded 8 . Bargain .

Watched the game and a good result for City against an excellent West Ham team today who were well organised and caused City all sorts of problems on the break. Hugely entertaining game.

Yes was a very good watch, did not expect the Hammers to give you as good a run for your money as they did.

Well I think it's fair to say you usually have a terrible record at the Emirates and usually vice versa for Arsenal at Spurs. Let's see but surely we'd be favourites at the Emirates.

I do find it hilarious though that many Liverpool fans are seeing themselves as the only rival to Man City this season!

Well we Nearly made it a day without a dig at Liverpool. All teams have different fans. I certainly ain't saying that. Where that saying that? On the man city forum.

We'll play a lot worse than that this season and win!
Man City are just a cut above everyone else in this league. We conceded three pretty soft goals, Areola pulled off an handful of world class saves and Haarland was pretty wasteful in front of goal but despite that we were comprehensively beaten.

We can call the league off now then, that's it wrapped up for Man City after 5 matches?

Liverpool have a better chance of winning the league than Leicester did at this point in 2015.

He will eventually confess he is also on some Liverpool forums. For the record I am also not saying that we will be in the fight for the title, top four would be an achievement.

Utd time-wasting from the start and the worst reffing i’ve seen in a long time. VAR must’ve been down too. their keeper was disgrace and should’ve been sent off for his antics. still great atmosphere and incredible scenes at the end.NLD next week should be tasty. COYS!!

To be fair to United it was Ronaldo's fault. Sorry Sancho. I meant Maguire. Actually Antony. Ah.....

Actually you may laugh but the City forum is absolutely brilliant, fans who have been through some massive highs and deep lows over the years and a really good crowd, far better than any other footy forum and certainly better than the Arsenal Mania.

There's actually quite a few Arsenal fans on there. Same as on the Man Utd forum (Redcafe) and the Liverpool forum (Redandwhitekop), quite a few Gooners on there.

I think the issue is there's quite a bit of the 'fam blud' crowd on the main Arsenal forums and some of us just want to chat football.

  37. #2087
Good win in the end for Villa, despite being below our best. Duran’s goal is well worth looking out for on MOTD too. We also had that rarity of a ref sticking with his original decision after being sent to the monitor by VAR.

Such a blatant dive for that Newcastle penalty. Should have been a booking instead.

I wasn't there and I haven't watched it (I'll pluck up the courage this afternoon) but let's not rule out the possibility that Brighton are a very good team at the moment.
Having said that United are definitely (more than) a bit sh*te right now. I'm putting this firmly at the ownership's door, both 19 years of neglect and the ongoing ****show that is the current 'sale' process. As long as they're able to take what they want out of the club, they will have no interest in success on the pitch. I'll never stop supporting United but I find it hard to invest too much of myself into that support when the club itself is rotten to the core.

Bayern Munich must be rubbing their hands in glee.

Brighton certainly are a good side, but worth noting that they had about 5 key players out yesterday. Given that, one might have expected United to have made more of an impression.

It almost feels like it might be unravelling a little bit for Ten Hag at the moment. Very interested to see how things unfold.

I'd agree with this, while I'm happy with the start we have made can't really see us challenging for the title this year. I expect city to win it at a canter, Liverpool could even be second but they will be a long way off. It's hard to see the makeup of the top 4 at the moment, I'd expect arsenal to be there, on current form spurs too but interested to see if they can maintain it. Man united are a shambles at the moment but yoid expect them to improve and Chelsea are a wild card. Maybe Brighton can crack it, I think Newcastle will go backwards.

The place was banging yesterday, great result for Spurs. The ref totally lost control, 14 booking in that game. The united Keeper totally took the piss as he knew the Ref just wouldn't send him off after the booking for handball. How there was only 3 mins extra time in the first half ,I'll never know. So glad to see Richy score the equaliser. Good time back at Spurs? Let hope so.

Blaming the owners is a bit strange considering the money invested in the playing squad . There’s no doubt they are using the club as a cash cow but they have always backed the manager with finance . I think Utd fans are just looking to deflect from team performance, reallly poor recruitment and awful performances.
The sense of entitlement is huge with their fans and it’s always delicious when they are reduced to a sideshow against better teams like Brighton .
Bear in mind that they could’ve lost to both Wolves and Notts Forest and they would be in relegation trouble.

    Premier League 2023-24

Not a day goes by when the same names on here don’t have a pop at united, I’ve said it before
    Hated adored never ignored

I question the football knowledge of some on here who clearly take more enjoyment from rivals losing than there own team winning.

The reality is that it’s no surprise we lost to Brighton who ARE a better team than us at this moment in time

The fact they’ve beaten us 4 in a row and could have had more than 3 didn’t surprise me one bit,
Fair play to them a joy to watch

Nice easy game away to Munich midweek will give you lads plenty of chance to stick the knife in

I’m a football fan first and foremost and a United supporter 2nd, grown men having pops at other teams never ceases to amaze me

Wait until they haven't won a trophy for a while and a nearby club sponsors a banner with a rolling count in their stand, to be pointed out with a smirk on club tours. I assume the club directors will be laying a wreath at the memorial this week. Like City have done, every time when in Munich without fail and due respect. Often while having to ignore "small club mentality", "noisy neighbours", " not in my lifetime" in the background.

Evened itself out though as disallowing the previous goal for an infraction on the keeper is a joke.

Some more officiating howlers too yesterday, joke of a penalty against Palace and then should have ben ordered to be re-taken as Villa player was clearly inside the box when taken but both officials missed it. The Palace #2 even pointed it out to the ref but presumably VAR can't intervene if the two clowns officiating have missed that?

Team that played yesterday at Utd, with six changes to the last game against Newcastle. I was more than a bit worried when I saw this. However De Zerbi proved me wrong, and there is a need to rotate in Europe. At least he could bring on the new boy Fati and the first teamers at the end in Pedro and Ferguson.
Quite a few others rested though.
Good to see we can play the same way whoever is in the team. Went away from Old Trafford very impressed.
