Pep was apprehensive in all fairness.

Jokes aside Rodri is a massive player who is clearly missed badly.

What’s going on in North East London then?

(I’m sure all will be fine in N17.)

    Good set of results today.

Could do with a Spurs win vs Liverpool and then that would be a perfect set of results.

Although Saka coming off injured does create a bit of a cloud

Agreed, he’s disgraced himself IMO. Nailed on red.

Was unfortunate as he has stepped on ball, but not surprised it was given.

Maybe trying to show he’s not too anti Liverpool!

It certainly looked a red. Although there was one angle which was shown only once, which didn’t look a red. Would like to see it again at half time.

Diaz is lucky he's not in trouble as well for elbowing Romero and a couple of other late tackles since

    Why has he disgraced himself?
It’s a red card, nothing more dramatic than that.

I think he meant Gary Neville for suggesting it wasn't a bad tackle

He's been great but I'd say Haavertz is slightly ahead of him

I was talking about the nonsense being spouted by Neville.

Can copy and paste that for every time he's on, I'm so glad I don't contribute to his salary.

Unlucky with the red there. It’s not a red for me.

Liverpool would have had this wrapped up by now without the sending off.

Still think Liverpool will score another couple.

The red card was a case of the rules vs the reality of the game. Yes the foot went over the ball and made contact with the player and the rules say that’s a red. The reality is Jones didn’t mean to go over the ball, there was no excessive force, it wasn’t deliberate and he only barely touched the player.

    Very soft IMO.

Did I miss an angle or some var with lines, I can't see how Diaz was offside for the first half goal?

Ridiculous from jota but the first yellow was a shambles

Probably the worst officiating I've seen, has gotten so many big calls wrong

He escaped a certain yellow earlier so there can’t be any (unbiased) complaints.

    Premier League 2023-24

Not only did the biggest club in London need us to give them a two player advantage, but we had to score their winner too.

I actually disagree, spurs looked pretty clueless against 9,liverpool only have themselves to blame, went on the attack in the 95th minute and gave the ball away.

Big big win for spurs though.

You were right about maddison he looks very good, I though Richarlison was dross, they need to replace him
