Most of us have seen the development of Karl's (Senraw) watch business via the ongoing Sales Corner post. It's fair to say Karl never had any intention of ending up where he is now and I'm blown away how it went from putting a few parts together on one watch to an operating online business so quickly. I'm in awe of what he's achieved.
When Karl signposted us to the website last week I could no longer resist and ordered a Clearance Diver Grey. The price of £199 inclusive of delivery seemed very reasonable.
I ordered at the weekend, received notification of dispatch yesterday (Monday) and the watch landed today (Tuesday).
The first thing I couldn't help noticing was the size of the massive box and then inside, loads of protective packing looking after the watch box. An excellent start.
The Senraw / Broad Arrow branded watch box is great and unlike any I've seen before. The paper binding around the box is a lovely touch indeed. Clearly a hell of a lot of thought has gone into the branding and boxing which I love. Inside sees foam inserts holding the watch steady.
Now onto the watch. Here's the spec:
Watch
- Weight : 67 grams (Watch head only, excluding strap)
- Dial : Matt black, no date
- Hands : Polished Sword Hands
- Crystal : Flat Sapphire
Case
- Material : 316L stainless steel

- Water Resistance : 200 meters
- Diameter 39.5mm, 43.5mm including the crown
- Lug spacing : 20mm
- Lug to lug height : 47mm
- 13mm thickness from the the centre of the flat sapphire crystal to the centre of the case-back
Movement

- Automatic with manual winding
- 24 jewel
- 21,600 BPH
- Hacking seconds
- No “ghost date” setting
Strap
- Ribbed Nylon strap

The dial is lovely and the Broad Arrow branding is, for me, perfect and much better than a written word. The plots are coloured just about right for the style and the hands match perfectly. The bezel action is firm and crisp with no play either way. The crown action is spot-on and it's great not having the ghost date position.
All-in-all it's a great little watch and without question is worth the cost. The service Karl provided was as good as it gets too.
I'm very happy and hope all those that bought these are too. It would be great if you could share your views, experiences and photos here please.

Absolutely delighted with my Clearance Diver. Perfect case shape, polished sides contrasting with brushed lugs. A lovely positive click to the bezel with perfect alignment to 12. Drilled lugs are the perfect addition for strap swops and the crown has a really positive feel, both when adjusting the watch and screwing down the seal.
I'll let the photos do the rest..... I've settled on one of my favourite straps, a Watch Steward in grey which has the ultimate in low profile and comfort to me.
Received my Clearance Diver today and I’m very happy with it. I can’t believe he can sell this for £199 - it’s amazing value!

Just put my Snowflake on one of Eddie's velcro nylon straps. For the money this is really hard to beat. It's all I've worn since receiving it.

A belated shot of my clearance diver - stuck it on a phoenix canvas strap found in the bottom of the strap box. Very pleased, feels like a real quality watch -
Everything lines up, and the crown winds amd screws down like butter - unlike every Seiko I’ve ever owned! - and it looks great imho :)IMG_3520.jpg
?!??!
Decided to try a ceramic bezel with similar toned faux vintage lume colouring. Quite pleased with the outcome... (and don't worry, I had it set incorrectly at +1 click... it IS aligned ok!!)

Now I’m over my ‘it’s a bit too close to a Sub homage for my liking’ worries, I’m really enjoying the Clearance Diver -
Really nicely constructed, more like a mechanical version of the Scurfa D100 if that makes any sense?!?
Does anybody have a link for a decent bracelet that fits these?
loving mine; swapped from an IWC Portuguese Yacht Club so took a few hours to adjust to the size.
once acclimatised was very comfy and really pleased with it..... great value and excellent service

The first customer (A close friend of mine) has just received the plexi version of the Clearance diver on bracelet.
Both plexi version of the Clearance Diver and Sea Commander, as well as bracelets options for both, will be added to the website soon.
Plexi looks ultra cool
How much will that be on a bracelet? Can I reserve one now?
Cheers
Jack
