    If you'll pardon the pun, the pointer is the point of it to me - having had one from the previous run, it would be a shame to lose that defining feature.

    This 100%. It's one of the few TF watches I've not owned and always thought they looked fantastic.

    30m WR is more than adequate for everyday wear, I wear vintage Omegas that I`ve restored and tested to 3 bar, they don't leak at 3 bar and that's good enough for me. People get far too hung up on WR, they get hung up on the numbers rather than think sensibly.

    22mm would be better IMO but 24mm is fine. It's the lug length that always put me off. Does it affect the historical design too much to reduce the lug length Eddie? Your mantra is always to improve rather than copy original designs and specs ;)
