Very nice,Sanj.
Look forward to more pics.

My 2nd Squale
Not sure about the strap but I have a few MNs on the way which should sort that.
Stratoliner is 199g and the Novonaut 219g both on bracelet, sized for my 6.75” wrist.
The Novo is about the limit of heft I’m comfortable with - thing is the block bracelet, whilst undoubtedly chunky is great to wear and the micro-adjust is a real boon.
More pics and proper review will come I promise.

This one is on the incoming list - looked terrible online but in real life it was absolutely fantastic.

Just looked at the listing, what a stunning minter with box and papers. You may already have seen it but here is a link to the Squale Collector website which covers these early Maggi era 1521's.

Finger smudges included. The 21mm Strapsco Vintage style Rally strap arrived this morning, so perfect timing.
I'm more than impressed......

That's a gorgeous combo. Is that the 37mm CC? I'm desperate to love it for myself but can't get over the size. I have watches as big as 44mm that I wear on the regular and can't decide if I'd get used to 37mm if I just bought it and got on with it or will it always look weird to me?!
Thanks.
I've been asked if it's the 37mm model. It is actually the 42mm model in grey. It's not that common. It does have the full kit, so bracelet, strap and rubber plus the pouch.
Here it is beside a 41mm Sub. Both have 21mm lugs so that's perfect for swapping the strap about.

New in today: a JDM version of the Seiko 35th anniversary Tuna. I’ve been after one for a couple of years now, and I am not disappointed. The dial is beautiful, the raw Ti case and bezel look great with the black shroud and the bright yellow accents really set the whole package off nicely.
I’m not madly keen on the “For saturation diving” text on the strap (I know why it’s there, but it strikes me as a bit “007 logo on a Bond Seamaster” somehow), but I have a good few Tuna straps and can easily put the hardware on a plain one of the right colour.
It looks positively bling next to Darth.
The text on the strap will probably come off with a bit of tcut or metal polish.
Nice watch, I quite fancy a tuna.
Over the moon to finally have another Sinn in the collection that I’ve been trying to get my hands on for a number of months at a reasonable price. U50 Professional which was a USA only LE of 150.

They do seem to grow on one, I’m acquiring a bit of a mini collection…
This one comes with two straps, both with the yellow text. One of them is blue-grey, and I’ve got the exact same strap without text in my drawer. I think it was originally included with the Emperor Tunas. I’ll have a look at stripping the text off the black strap though, that’s a good suggestion, thanks!
King Seiko SJE083. It’s a beautiful watch but I’m not sure it’s quite ‘me’. I put it on a 2-stitch immediately to dress it down. It might not stick around very long.
Not new to the forum but new to me, a lovely wee Mappin & Webb Campaign watch.

This has just arrived via DHL. First impressions are that it’s a lot smaller and more wearable than I expected.
Red On Green On
RIAC
Added a bit of colour and a new (to me) brand to the collection.

H.G.P. Mecaquartz.
What a great cheap watch! Chinese Monnin case with superb bezel action. Amazing design! Antireflective sapphire too. And that £15 Seiko movement is so far +-0 over five days on the wrist! Assembled in France apparently.
Super happy!
Been out of the watch hobby for a while, returned last week with one of these while at the airport...
This just in! Not bad first impressions a step to the moonswatch

A lovely gift from my wife. I must say I often want a dress watch but would never spend the money on one as I wouldn’t wear it often. This is perfect as I can enjoy it when there’s call for one and not feel guilty about it when there isn’t.
Some really nice details on it too like blued hands and some intricate dial relief work which can’t be appreciated in the photo.
My first new arrival in months would be my entry for the "Unashamedly Outlandish Seventies Watch of the Year " award if I wasn't the sole judge and arbiter of the award.
This Ricoh Riquartz has all you would want from a watch from the seventies: shrouded lugs, golden indices and hands and a dial made from a random mineral (tiger's eye on this one). As a bonus there is some sort of "rock" at twelve. The only thing that would top it off would be a tungsten carbide case (Ricoh did make them and I am on the look out).
Oh yes it would be nice if it worked but I will see if I can sort that because, for a dial like that it'll be worth it.
Not new but back after 3 months with Hamilton after a full service and refurbishment. Not everyone's cup of tea but I have a thing for Hamilton chronographs.

Really liking this one.
