Btw Eddie, is this your best selling watch ever now? Have you ever sold more watches in such a short period?
I'm not as think as you drunk I am.

It's certainly been a quick seller when I have them in stock but there's only been 137 in total so far. The Dreadnought was sold out before it was ready.

Maybe some sort of security measure.

It showed two detailed tracking lines before the exception.

It's on time for delivery so not the typical "exception" certainly.

Received mine today after ordering on Tuesday somewhere in the evening! That was lightning fast  Looks and feels great. Sizing the bracelet will be rather difficult though as I donīt have the proper tools. Here? hoping my dad has them. Good luck to everyone still waiting!

My first post here to say thank you very very much Eddie. Ordered on Wednesday morning the watch - even with the number I've asked for - arrived in Germany today. In this context I'm surprised about the serial number of the second series beginning 0901... Does that mean January 2009?

    Ordered 02.12.2008 19:04 CET, received 04.12.2008 15:06 CET.

The watch came in a zippered case with cutouts for two watches, including a
Speedbird strap, cleaning cloth, spring bar tool and guarantee card.

Eddie was also so kind as to fulfill my wish for a special serial number - thanks.

The watch is really well made and with the bracelet has a nice heft and balance.
It shall be my trusty companion for years to come.

    I'm very satisfied.

Yes, the 0901 part of the serial number really does mean January 2009. It was touch and go whether they would arrive in December so I asked for a January 2009 serial number. I think this is the first time watches have been delivered ahead of schedule  .

Ah, again I am screwed by the massive incompetence at UPS.

    Original arrival date: Dec. 5.
    Rescheduled date: Dec. 8.

    Code:
    PHILADELPHIA, PA, US
     	12/04/2008 10:11 P.M. DEPARTURE SCAN
^^^^^^ <-- What was it doing for 10 hours? Getting cold in a warehouse whilst the employees have an extra-long lunch?
    	12/04/2008 12:02 P.M. IMPORT SCAN
    	12/04/2008 11:42 A.M. IMPORT SCAN
    	12/04/2008 8:23 A.M. ARRIVAL SCAN
12/04/2008 12:57 A.M. REGISTERED WITH CLEARING AGENCY / SHIPMENT SUBMITTED TO CLEARING AGENCY
12/04/2008 12:57 A.M. REGISTERED WITH CLEARING AGENCY / RELEASED BY CLR AGENCY. NOW IN-TRANSIT
Of course, it's their fault it's delayed, so they will not make an extra effort to deliver on Saturday.

    Re: Speedbird III stock?

Well mine arrived yesterday after ordering late Tuesday. This is what I would term as my first 'real' watch. I've had a Zeitner commando on my wrist for around 10 years

I've been searching long and hard for 2 months for a quality watch. I dabbled with the idea of a Stowa for a while, then went beyond my budget looking at Sinns. Fantastic watches those. But given the specs and the bracelet of the SBIII I just couldn't say no to it. I am so glad I did!

I wanted to say thanks to Eddie for providing a great watch, it's so much better than I thought it would be, basically it's my dream watch!

I can safely say this is definitely not my final purchase from Timefactors.

    Argh. Missed it. Again.

Ok, here goes. Given the apparent issues of obtaining movements, do you think you will get a restock in dec-january? Or will the wait be longer for us poor slow buggers who can't press "add to cart" fast enough....
