A year on and finally making some progress on the living room/dining room project and yes those pillars are now plastered..hoped it would be complete for Christmas but had a few issues to contend with (mainly the Crittal partition)

Put up last Saturday, my two young nieces assisted with the decorations including some they'd made themselves.

The winner for me. What are all those figures? They look like rugby balls or American football balls. But are they?

No tree here with two young cats terrorizing the house. To put it in perspective: our 1 y/o Rottweiler is a beacon of 'calm and collective' attitude compared with those two Maine Coons.

Every time I see your lounge, Alex it fills me with joy & envy lol; I absolutely love it, could really see myself kicking back with a nice whisky around that fire.

A traditional French one (not, of course. Not my photo either)

Absolute mish-mash of decorations, but all lovely or have history.
Went for the 7-8ft, after years of going massive and always having to move furniture out to accommodate!!!

That’s very kind, your wish could come true as the house is likely to be up for sale in spring…

Ours this year. I had to loo a foot off of it to fit it in but tall and borrow fits the space.

Like notenoughwrists many of our baubles have memories attached and my Wife has a penchant for vintage baubles (I reckon we have enough for two trees).
