Help needed for Dads old watch.

Hi. This is a picture of my late fathers watch which he had for some years. I've no idea where he got it from but I've looked on line to find one like it and can't find anything that looks similar.
Anyone seen one before?

I can only assume its worth an absolute fortune as it has PP on the dial!!

It's not the sort of thing you buy on a whim unless it is a fake.

You'd have to get it properly appraised.

I'm in no way a Patek expert, but looking at the finishing of various parts it looks too crude to be a genuine one.

Thanks all. I thought it was likely to be worthless but have tried finding a similar one in old Catalogues as I can't understand why a Chinese copy shop would make something original but supposedly from a well-known maker. Normally they copy existing models, don't they?

Sometimes they just slap brand names on their concoctions.
