Seriously, I agree to an extent but if we all thought the same then there wouldn't be forum threads asking about sports watches, dress watches, everyday watches, holiday watches, beaters etc. and manufacturers wouldn't be promoting different styles to different audiences. No one could care a less what James Bond wore or what astronauts or mountaineers prefer either.

Agreed mate, and in hindsight I should've made it clearer that my post was very much 'tongue in cheek', not so long ago I too would fret about 'which watch with what' and I still have respect those that do, but now I'm simply too old to care 'who thinks what' to be honest!!
