Almost a year into my IWC ownership, loving the versatility of the XX and the EasX system (my wallet not so much)

How are the easX leather straps after a bit of wear?

I tried a Mark XX in store and was horrified by how uncomfortable the strap was.

I haven't used my leather much at all so can't give much info. on how they hold up (I'm sure others can) I initially dismissed the rubber straps but I'm now sold on them and have a few. I'd definitely recommend, not as dressy as the leathers but still look & wear well

They last well but I find them uncomfortable due to the hard spot created by the end clip so I use traditional straps.

I don’t use the IWC ones as they are uncomfortable for me so use Colareb ones.

Apologies, thought you meant it was just the EasX ones you found uncomfortable.

I assume non EasX straps fit on the factory pins ok?!

It’s the EasX straps I find uncomfortable as the strap is stiff at the ends where the clip is which creates a hard spot. If you have a different shaped wrist you probably would not find the same.

So I just use a standard strap.

My most worn watch, 1959, serviced a couple of years ago and keeps time inside 10 secs/week if I leave it face up overnight. For me one of the true all time classics with great history, very much undervalued today imo.
