    Those of you who have safety deposit boxes, do you take separate insurance to cover the items held there?

    John Lewis specialist insurance ( Covea Insurance at the moment)

    Just to note that I have managed to ‘negotiate’ on details of cover with insurers a couple of times. Nothing major but a couple of practical points that suited me better. So might be worth asking them to flex a bit where needed.
