Our cat has Asthma, has an human inhaler every morning and didn't expect him to get to almost 14 that he is now. He never drinks water despite having a bowl of water available his whole life.
Fingers crossed on the kidney issue, I know it's common.
Sorry for your double loss at 10 years old.
