    The Thurrock story is staggering in scale of both money and incompetence

    They are now suing to retrieve £ 655'000'000 best of luck with that

    Incompetent local Council charging me £2766.42 excluding green bin collection and car parking charges on all council owned land in the borough.

    Just over £4500pa (band H but goodness knows why) - then estate management charge adds around £1500. May move later this year!

    Is it still the case that up to 20% (or more..) of council tax revenue goes straight into the pension pot?

    Band B- £1820 PA but £137/ month over 10 months as I’m single occupancy (up 3%)
    I won’t pay £65 Pa for garden waste - I’m about 5 mins from the council tip

    I could do with the 27% non contribution civil servant pension plated or not. Beats the standard 5% I’m used to.
