Here's a quick snap of what's just arrived in time for my first ever Friday thread post:
Couldn't do a wrist-shop as my hands were shaking too much with excitement!
Massive thanks to CmdrBond and of course TZ-UK for helping to start my collection off nicely...
Looks well on that NATO! If I had to buy an expensive watch it would be that; very classy indeed.Originally Posted by draz

It's a GW-M5600BC just bought from sales corner of Jos (Dutchguy2).
Never had a 'G' and not had a digital for ooooh, 25 years....ish?
It feels very retro and my nine year old thinks it's 'way cool'..  kids eh.
Great looking Hamilton Guy.Originally Posted by pinkwindmill
Thanks - it's a corker. Lovely case-work with a mix of brushed and polished, together with some nice design features like the shaped pushes, etc. Oh, and no picture can do justice to the dial - it's a delight to behold. :)Originally Posted by j111dja

I would love one of those, beautiful watches, have you got a side by side with your bund ?
Oris small second diver, cal.643
Looks like I am going to be keeping this after all. Always nice to have a white dial in the collection anyway.
Very rare Omega Seamaster Chronograph..............
I don't Neal, but I'll do one when I get the bund back (having the bezel alignment tweaked) :)Originally Posted by Flashharry
+1 :D I had a Hamilton QNE and it was superb quality for the price, and like this one, offered a splash of coulour without being too bling. A nice watchOriginally Posted by j111dja

It's very big and heavy - 47mm at the back, tapering to about 44 at the front. Quite comfortable, although it has pulled my hairs once or twice. :)Originally Posted by kfman
Lovely strap, is the stitching red or orange? what kind of dough is such a beast? think I will need to get one for my PO. Have heard so much about Toshi's.Originally Posted by swanny

I started out my life as a WIS collecting vintage watches. In recent years, I've pretty much gotten rid of all of them, and now everything I own is new/modern. Seeing this watch, I'm thinking about getting at least one vintage watch again. Looks great, and stands out from the crowd.Originally Posted by Foggy
