I'm a big fan of Pep but sometimes you need a Plan B. Sometimes doing what you do won't be enough. Not often, but sometimes. I'll say it again, Haaland isn't at this level. Another anonymous performance in a big game. His first touch is almost always awful and he gives the ball away so often. A possible Plan B would be to go long on occasion but he can't control or hold the ball up well enough. He's a goal machine against decent teams but he's not scored or contributed very much ever at quarter final stages onward.

Grealish had a good game. Valverde and Carvahal were outstanding.
