Coloured chopping board only mandatory in U.K. where the food is sold.

Raw meat needs to differentiate between poultry and other meat.

Poultry board must be cleaned with cold water cloth first not hot. After removal of debris and surface then a poultry scrub and cleaning product can be used.

The colour of the boards is not mandated, and Resturant can have their own conventions even though some Manufactuers will provide guides.

    Ditto-ish.

We have an oiled walnut live edge plus a set of these (which slot into the dishwasher).

Plastic boards + sharp slicing knives = potential consumption of microplastic fragments. ?

Yes please. I am always slicing into my finger.

The closest I come is laminating some strips together to make a fish cleaning board, but I wouldn't altogether fancy a glued sectioned board for food preparation.
One unit to go, so fingers crossed!

When I was repairing car body timber frames for a living I called myself an offcut manufacturer.
Have a look at your butcher's cutting block next time you are worried about a glued board. They are made from end grain strips.

Hate seeing knives used like that in advertising photos, always the back of the blade to be used!

There are some amazing chopping boards with drawers etc, our pull out bin has a food caddy that hooks up over the base cupboard doors & you can scrape into it easily.
