Sea Dweller meets sweatshop produced overpriced nylon just doesn't have the same ring does it.

WOW...must have missed something here...as regards self promotion, let me assure you all, this strap, sales, manufacture etc has NOTHING to do with me, just commenting that I like it. as regards sweat shop, well....not to be endorsed, but for all I know it came from the same place as my IWC pilot kevlar.

that looks surprisingly good... looks tough, although I'd stick with my bracelet.
Best get the IWC checked for excess nylon content then. :DOriginally Posted by GOAT
Oh, for crying out loud!

Are we going to see a bunch of unpleasantness from Patrick every single time one of these straps is mentioned? I think everyone's position has been made more than adequately clear by now.Originally Posted by Karl

Not for new gags, no - but the wabi on this one is so thick you can barely make out the original finish.Originally Posted by patrick

For those promised a Kevlar strap  and finding it's plastic the "joke" is still very fresh.(sadly)
Yes and no ... because whoever thought they were getting a real Kevlar strap better go and stand with the people who thought they were getting a real carbon strap.Originally Posted by patrick

You cannot win OSH. All you can do is stay low key for a couple of years and we might forgive you. And the Xtian element didn’t help either. You need to know when to play the religion card and TZ-UK is the wrong place.

Every watch a story.
OK,
this post almost feels off topic as its actually about the straps.... i really like them
does anyone know if anyone else sells "similar" straps that are 20mm at the lugs and not notched like previous examples?
fancy one for a sub hommage with red stiching and, and , and, so many watches and combos i can think of.
havent even recieved the nato strap yet and i think its been relegated!
I'd really really like it if the shit-storm going down on other forums didn't happen here.
Well it's been quietly rumbling on over here for a little while but I thin we're all much calmer about it than the Americans :DOriginally Posted by CPF
Maybe our American friends object to being ripped off more than us Brits. :DOriginally Posted by Jonmurgie
Well you know us Brits... never one to complain old chum... stiff upper lip and all :lol:Originally Posted by patrick
Yeh I noticed that thread. It's quite sad, there's some very angry people about.
