He's a mess... far better in the obscurity he used to be in and a shame he thinks he is something (when he's not).

Just my opinion of course :D

Tremendous story arc, though - to have it all, throw it away and then come back.

Good to see him turn it around. Not sure how long it will last though.

I thought he was very candid and open, unlike many of the stars who would gloss over their F ups. Needs to fire his stylist though, the dandy look isn't cool :)

BTW great actor, glad to seeing him scoring bigtime again.

I've now seen the interview, and totally agree.

Whilst I agree that the plastic surgery has not been at all successful & his dress sense is a little odd & one should always remove the labels from the bottom of shoes! He at least comes across as a frank, honest & honourable guy .. enjoyed the interview.

He has his problems but a great actor, a bit different - his own man which I kind of respect and like. The Wrestler is excellent and fair play to him.

With his next film, Rourke courted controversy by saying he donated part of his salary from "Francesco" (1989) – in which he played St. Francis of Assisi – to the Irish Republican Army.

He has at least seven tatoos including a tiger head with Chinese symbols on his left shoulder, a bulls skull on his right bicep, and the I.R.A symbol on his left forearm.
