Ordered!
(Uhm... the catalogue, that is :) )
Those of you who like drooling over beautiful catalogues should order a free copy of the latest Breguet 240 page book (printed 11/08) off of their website. Mine arrived today after waiting a couple of weeks. Also, the price in Switzerland (inc. VAT) is only 4500 Swiss Francs for the Type XX Aeronavale with strap. At current exchange rates, that's only about £2700. Worth a flight to collect one there?

I am getting a serious graw for Type XX.
Where are you getting these prices?
Thanks and good luck.
Is it the white catalogue?
I've found myself coming back and thinking about Breguet more and more. I just love the Type XXI flyback chrono on a bracelet with it's chocolatey dial. I had the pleasure of trying one on in Dubai and it took my breath away.
My name will be on the Breguet wall one day, sooner rather than later if i continue with the trouble finding a decent ss aquatimer gst.
I received mine 2 months ago sadly the pieces i like are waaaaaay out of my price range...

Interesting, what was the XXI retailing at in Switzerland?? :)Originally Posted by Frank Dabba Smith
yes, the catalogue has a white cover. The pricelist is a separate leaflet dated 1.1.09.
The XXI is priced as follows (in Sfr.)
Steel w/ strap 5,800
Steel w/bracelet 6,600
Rose gold w/bracelet 11,700
Sweet dreams...
....now that really is something to think about.... :?Originally Posted by Frank Dabba Smith
Thanks Frank, now are those prices VAT included?Originally Posted by Frank Dabba Smith
Aww i received mine without the price leaflet  It was last January that i ordered mine and it arrived 4 days later :D
Yep, Swiss VAT included.
In the book, nice full page closeup photos of tourbillon movements, too. Dribble...

Don't want to rain on your parade, but 'la cote des montres' lists the price of a type 20 steel with leather strap as 5800 euros.
Catalogue will make a great table coffee table job, need coffe table now , any on SC

I assure you that these are the prices in Swiss Francs, including Swiss VAT, as of 1.1.09 in the official Breguet pricelist.
I wonder if Swiss ADs give discounts? Also, what sort of a tax, if any, might be payable at this end to bring a new watch into the UK legally?
Worth every penny!!
I paid just over 2K for mine, used.
That is a beautiful watch Doug.
Are there any other companies that have catalogues for order over the internet? Any that are worth having?
Thats a lovely looking watch. I quite like the look of the XXI on bracelet but I have yet to see in the flesh when passing Old Bond St.Originally Posted by doug darter

Type XX without date.
Model number: 3800ST/92/9W6
Very strange! My pricelist states Sfr 4,500 for the 3800ST/92/9W6. Why would Breguet send out an incorrect pricelist? I will email them soon and check.
I consulted http://www.firstswiss-luxerywatches.com and a 38000ST/92/9W6 is priced at CHF5,320. Divided by 1.6444 (CHF to £ for today) equals £3,139. It's more than the CHF 4,500 in my Breguet pricelist received a few days ago but not too bad. So some price increases since January in Switzerland.
I received my Breguet Catalogue, and Frank Dabba Smith is correct, the Type XX is listed on the enclosed price list at SFR 4,500.
Does anyone know the current real world price for these?
Switzeland isn't in the EU so you'll get hit the same as if it were America etcOriginally Posted by Frank Dabba Smith
Thanks for the tip.....just ordered one but no sure I need anymore temptation lying around :D
Thanks, Kiloman for the independent corroboration!
BTW, I've ordered an XX Aeronavale with strap; should arrive around 2nd June. Anticipation and all that good stuff!
