Thanks all for your wishes, guys!

A cracking 21st had here I might say :wink: . Something really good occurred in the morning (stop sniggering at the back!), followed by a visit to the gym for some manic pumping on the upper-body machines. SWMBO joined me for a visit to the donkey sanctuary to meet the manager and to make a fuss of the 16 donkeys (lovely creatures, much more predictable than the horses I’m used to).

Then off for lunch which was al fresco at the beach café (blue sky and sunshine) and then I rode up to meet a pal at his work and to borrow his bike (well, he can’t get out in office hours, bless). It’s a ‘08 Suzuki Hayabusa: criminally insane piece of work (0-60 2.5secs, 180+mph :shock: ) and has got to be the easiest bike to hoik up onto the back wheel I’ve ever ridden. After a blat around on that it was back home to have a play with my birthday pressie, a USB microscope:




Dinner tonight is at home and going to be rack of (very local :wink: ) lamb with roast veg (I’m cooking) accompanied by a cracking St Emilion, a Chateau Mauvezan.

But the best thing of all was the morning event: my dog Joe has been unwell for a few weeks & was getting poorer, last Friday he had biopsies taken :( and today we went to the vets for the results – and it was good news!



He’ll need a course of treatment (£££££'s), but the prognosis is good for a full recovery in time. :bounce: :bounce: :bounce:
