You will need two small screwdrivers, something soft to lay the watch on and a steady hand.
I think there is a special tool available if you prefer.

Can anyone advise on how to remove links on the SB3? Can you do it with small screwdriver or do you need to buy a special tool?
Thanks,
John

Thanks. What do you do then, is it just a case of pushing inwards at both sides? I think it is all one bar that connects the links isn't it?Originally Posted by dforgrieve

Simply hold one whilst turning the other to undo the thread on the pin.
The bar runs all the way through. It's slotted at one end and has a threaded hole at the other for the retaining screw. This is very small, so be careful you don't lose it. You really need three hands - one to hold the bracelet down and one each for the two screwdrivers.
Have you got any strong double sided tape?
Two small screwdrivers, some patience and some care, that's all that is needed. It's a bit fiddly, and best done in a calm frame of mind, but that's it!

It requires Zen and Zantac. One for the mind and the other for your stomach when the screw hits the carpet. ;)
If I did it successfully anyone can.
I've got it clocked. Had to remove 4 links but it fits perfect now. Thanks!
Now... Can anyone recommend what tool to get for when I want to remove the bracelet and try other straps on it?
John
Well done! You will need a Bergeon spring bar tool with a fine end to change the bracelet :)
