Big statement, big watch !!. They are fantastic pieces of kit , especially the Militare style.
Well built , well designed and just that bit different.
This is my first post but been looking all over the site for a while and love it, well done to all!
I have been hearing more and more about these watches (Anonimo) and wondering what other people think about them? They seem to position themselves as the alternative to Panerai, which is a big statement!

I believe there is a past Panerai connection - I'm sure someone more knowledgable will explain in due course. I like 'em :)
Wearing a black dial milimetri as I type. Have had a few now and never fail to be impressed by the quality of finish. Alternative to Panerai, well, many of Panerai's old Italian workforce are supposed to have transferred to the company (when Panerai went Swiss and left Florence). Anonimo are not worn by footballers though (yet) so that accounts for much of the price difference  . All joking apart I have had a few of each in the past and still have one of each now. In my opinion they are of equal quality, but others may beg to differ, the main difference I suppose is if you like the Panerai patented crown guards, and layered dials.
In summary, have no worry about buying an Anonimo, but never buy retail new, they do not currently hold their value like Panerai's do (maybe in the future they will).

James
Thanks James, I think i am warming to them.

Google is your friend
Personally I think they are at very good alternative to Panerai.
The designs are great, quality is superb & the prices lower, but buying new is likely to result in a higher loss (in percentage terms) when selling on compared to Paneria.

No worries, oh and welcome to the madhouse by the way.

I love Anonimo, though some of the designs are a little challenging – but they make some beautiful watches and they are not the obvious choice, which makes them all the more appealing.
Great watches IMO. Wearing my orange dialled bronze Polluce today :)

Yeah,
great design accompanied by Italian customer service (read nonexistent).
Love them - own two and I won't buy a Pam just yet!
Although one of my Anonimo's is going back to Anomino Uk service centre as it is running minutes fast per day - not what is expcected and manhy are reported to run within or v close to COSC - so going back under warranty - they also said they woudl refinish my older Anonimo for a nominal charge - so it's going back with it. I understand the US service left a littel to be desired - but from the very fast turnaround I've recived in emails I am hoping for a very happy outcome - I'll update when I get the watches back.
It's just a matter of time...
Seems a good day to day watch to own. Will now go on the search for a Cronoscopio Mark 2 or Dino Zei Nemo. Would be great to here about the service turn around. Thanks
Elshan has Dino Zei on SC at the mo'. Pain in the a*se is its oversea's. Positives though - I have dealt with Elshan and he was straight up, his watch is also up at a great price and I guess there may even be a little scope for negotiation there too.
Either way, good luck - you won't regret it. If you do though - theres always sales corner once you have hit 50 posts and then you can truly join the merry go round.
:D
I've had my Millemetri about 5 years now and I love it, it's a watch I will never part with.
I'm sure you will have no regrets if you get one.
I wore my militare today... absolutely love it and am now looking out for a millimetri in the future...
still wearing my Polluce :D
Looks even better in the metal too! 8)Originally Posted by Toshi
