Thread: Benarus Sea Devil

    Benarus Sea Devil

I've just received my latest watch... a Benarus Sea Devil

I'd been looking for a chunky, solid watch which had a clean and easy to read dial.

Initial thoughts were to buy a Sinn U series but recent price rises have made them a little less attractive than they used to be!

Then I stumbled across the Benarus Sea Devil which seemed to fit the bill at a fraction of the cost of the U series.
The watch itself comes nicely presented in a two watch case which includes a leather and rubber strap aswell as the steel bracelet. Two screwdrivers are also provided for adjusting the bracelet and changing the strap.

Excellent service from the Benarus staff completed the package.
    Now for the photos.....

They look amazing and the price is really quite good, but unfortunately they are far too big for my puny wrists. :D

They do look large. I really fancy one of these myself.

@Relativity....Can you tell me what the thickness of the case is?

    Hi Mate,

The watch measures about 16mm high and is a substantial piece of steel.
    More specs are here:

For what its worth my wrist is only 7 inches but I like big watches. Its all a matter of personal preference I suppose.
I have yet to try it on a strap -- many people say this can make a difference.

Absolutely. I liked it on the bracelet but was never 100% convinced it was right. I just put mine on the dive strap for the first time this week and it is just fantastic.

As per Dave's suggestion I tried the Sea Devil on a leather strap -- I thought contrasting red stitching would look good

I liked it on the bracelet but the strap gives the watch a whole new look...

Oh... and here's a lume shot...

Looks great on the bracelet and even better on the red stitched strap.

    Great purchase, looks great.
I'm waiting for my Moray, silver dial with orange minute hand, sometime in June I hope.

I look forward to seeing some pictures of the Moray when it arrives :D

I missed the Moray pre-order (having only just "discovered" Benarus) but I suspect I'll be pre-ordering a Megalodon
