    IN TODAY'S POST

THIS ARRIVED, it's a Longines Spirit chrono, really nice looking watch just don't know if I will get used to a leather strap, ( like my bracelets) it will be a shame if I don't as I think it is the only option for this, any way I'll give it a go and see how it goe's if not you can expect to see it on sales corner in the next week or so................Mark

I like it very much but found it a tad too thin on my wrist somewhat...

Might be worth ringing a local AD to fine out how much the bracelet is for your watch if you can't get on with the strap. It is a beautiful bracelet and knowing Longinges won't be too pricey I would guess. Cheers.

    Re: IN TODAY'S POST

hello all thanks for all the comments, I've worn it since last night and I think I'am getting used to the strap, so it looks like it could be a keeper (for now at least ), as for getting a bracelet for it I honestly think it would spoil the classic look of the watch so I think that would be a no no for me, I have found it to be a very nice size at just over 40mm across not inc the crown, and about 11mm thick. have to say had it on around the car boot this morning and got loads of complimentary comments , so all in all very pleased with it so far. ...........Mark

Seem them on ebay with SS bracelet and I'm with you, it is just not in keeping with the look of the watch nor the era it is supposed to represent. Keep it on leather or move it on :D A bracelet will spoil it. A stunning watch by the way

wow - what a beauty, this old fashioned looks really does it for me. Looks vintage, but modern proportions, and without the reliability issues of the vintage :drunken:
