Good stuff Oliver, what model did you go for? I recently bought my first JLC viewtopic.php?f=1&t=78499
Hurry up and get home so I can see the pics :D
Unfortunately I'm still at work and can't take pics ;)
But I'm quite happy, I can tell you that :D

Designed by the not entirely unattractive Magali Metrailler, isn't it?
I bet you are, she's a beauty.Originally Posted by bricktop

Way to classy for a thug like you :D
Nah, congrats mate! What a wonderful watch :-)
I'm not as think as you drunk I am.
Nice piece! Congrats :)
great watch and wears really well.
wear it in good health.
Time for those pictures.
You might notice that the strap doesn't seem to fit very well.... that's because it's the one for the MC Extreme World Chrono which is way bigger. The AD of the previous owner must have had a pretty hard time putting it on - it seems that he had cut the sides of the strap a bit so they fit between the lugs
That's why I put up a WTB for the right rubber strap, so if anybody has one or knows someone who does - please let me know.
Some quick and dirty shots:

Oliver
Oh yes, that is a fine looking piece. Congrats.

Very classy :)
Very nice indeed Oliver.
I've just bought into the JLC MC family myself, so I think that's three of us in the last week. :)
Funny thing IMO....Originally Posted by darrenw

Very nice indeed.

Wow great watch - but shame on the strap. Why not mount some black leather with red stitching - must be a killer combo. With this wiggly waggly strap it just looks cheap - sadly... hope you find the right strap soon. Did the previous owner not mention it?
Very very nice, congrats 8)

Nope... he told me that this was some "new generation" type of strap. But the reference no. of the strap shows clearly that it's for the EWC.Originally Posted by diverdan33
It isn't wiggly though (fortunately), in fact it sits very tight with no wiggle at all. Anyway, I hope someone is going to offer me a fitting one soon.
:)
Oliver
Haha - yeah right - the next generation - "hover of the lugs" strap. I'd say he takes that strap and buys you the correct one ;) What's the lug width of the JLC? I might have a leather strap that suits it well - you can have it FOC.
Very nice, congrats! I tried one of these two weeks back and the compressor crowns really do their job -- 1/2 turn and the crown/pushers are locked! And the pushers are among the smoothest I ever tried...
Cheers,
Andreas
No he doesn't.... :|Originally Posted by diverdan33
Whatever. I have a JLC croc strap on the deployant on which I'll put it when I have time - I'm sure it'll look great. Thanks for the offer though!
Congrats on your JLC, they are a really classy watch!
