No better pedigree for a used car

Probably no need to bother with the Channel Tunnel with that one.

    Best wishes,

    convertion - can't spell conversion
beem convertion - don't know (but see above)
fic paint with metal flaxs - thick paint with metal flecks ?
    gti6 lump boarded to 2.2 - bored out to 2.2 ?
quif - Quaife - a manufacturer of transmission parts
    350z raiditor - a radiator from a Nissan 350Z
    bucketts - bucket seats

    His spelling is great !

".....this car has had over £30.000 spent on it......."

Well at least he got the full stop in the right place, even if he accidently put an extra zero at the end :D

 I'm not sure what's more amusing; that, or thinking I might have been serious!

Beam Conversion- The car is a 1.6 so will have had drums as standard. He's changed the entire rear beam for that of a GTi-6 which has discs. Its also a bit beefed up I imagine.

Fic paint- Should read Flip. The paint changes colour depending on the light and viewing angle.

I just realised that my understanding of those terms might not be a good thing...

Scary thing is, I'd not be surprised if he had spent that kind of money on it. A couple of years back, I got chatting to someone who had a son with a Saxo VTR. The car cost him about £10k new, and, wait for it, he spent another £12k doing it up!! I'm in to my cars, but that's just plain silly.

The money some of these guys spend is crazy - Halfords must be laughing all the way to the bank! I'm a huge car nut and don't mind *performance enhancing* mods at all - suspension, engine, weight saving etc, but bolting on spoilers and fake vents to a 306 seems like lunacy.

The funny thing is these guys do these mods to create something unique - but they all make the same (or very similar) 'unique' car.
