New strap for the Sea Devil...

Arrived home from work to find this on the doormat - just fitted and trying to decide if the leather's maybe a bit too thin for such a chunky watch? Feels comfy on though :)

Tis quite a big bugger, but not unwieldy on my 6.5" wrist - been wearing it with the bracelet so far, but fancied a bit of a colour contrast so took a gamble on a new strap from SC.

First time I've tried a deployant too - rather like it :)

Looks a bit too think and dressy for the watch head to me, but what's important is that you like it!

Sorry but the strap is not up to the job on that watch... you need a decent thick Toshi (or similar) IMO.

Also, that watch is too big for you...

It's not right. Looks best on the bracelet, or on rubber or mesh otherwise.

Yeah I'm leaning towards the too thin side of things at the moment - will maybe give it a few hours before I pass final judgement!

I think I like the colour combo of lighter brown against the steel/blue case, which is why I decided on a gamble...

    Have to disagree there ;)

Looks very nice on (granted on the bracelet in fairness) - angle of the pics makes it look larger than it is on the arm IYSWIM...

Edit to add - now restored to the bracelet, where it'll likely remain!

Now, to flip the strap, or keep it in case a more appropriate watch happens to come my way :D

Listen to this chap, he talks sense  Although, I may not be able to save you from your predicament if I find this Oris I'm after in the meantime.

The colour works well; the strap is a bit thin. That's why I flipped a strap this afternoon.

Have you tried an orange Nato? Because of the way it "bellows", although it is thin, it looks more substantial.

I think something much thicker would be better in this case.
Maybe one of Rich's creations as someone already suggested
