well the case looks ok
i saw this whilst at work earlier today. it had about 15 seconds to go and was very cheap so i didn't read the blurb or study too close i just threw a bid in, won and paid.
once home i went back for a better look and i suspect i may regret my fastest finger first actions.......

well the case looks ok
Replacement dial, handset, bezel insert and minute bezel. No matter though really if it works OK and keeps time, just treat it as a beater.
Cheers,
Gary
$68..................
Can't go too wrong if the thing works and keeps time, like the man said, use it as a beater

Then as they move from their prime to a more needy and dependant state, an unfathomable urge draws them back to the briney and through innumerable adventures and scrapes on the way back home to the mother pond. Only, in the last few agonising yards, to be snagged by eager local ebayers

Oh well, at least it has the "original new dial"!
I think they`re manufactured downtown Manilla out of old bicyclecabs, thats eco-friendly you know.Originally Posted by vulcangascompany

have recently decided that instead of loads of cheap and midrange watches i will have a beater,a diver, a nice vintage and a couple with special interest, and one expensive piece. hence my monopoly of sales corner in the past few days."
So....is this your beater, diver or nace (sic) vintage? :D
i did say i wanted a 6309 :D
however i did pick a load of cheapies up from the flying banana - but they don't count...do they? :D

well its here and first impressions are aside from needing a ball in the bezel it's fairly tidy, if obviously near fully refurbished. pics tomorrow.
anyone know the best way to remove the bezel on these and does the "ballpoint pen trick" work ok? i can feel a lot of inky mess coming on.....
