As a Seiko beginner whats the date on this one?
i think itas a76 model,will try some lume pic's tomorrow when camera's charged
January 1976 but the 6105 was produced from 1968 to 1977. A useful link for more info about Seiko divers.

I like then alot, however I must admit I do not really understand the differences between a 6105-8000 and 6105 -8110 and some of the other variants which exist.
Are some better than others and which one is the best?

6105-8000 / 6105-8009 have smaller symmetrical cushion cases
6105-8110 / 6105-8119 have large asymmetrical cushion cases
In general it's just a question of taste as to which you think is the best / prefer.
