If anyone is interested, the new PAM305 47mm titanium submersible is on blowers site. It looks fantastic and makes me rethink the choice of a PAM25 for my next purchase... :?

I am not emotional what any dealer asks for an item, but buggered if i'd give any of them a nigh on £2K cool profit on that example :?
Thanks Shadowman,
What are Blowers like on pricing? fixed or is there room for negotiations?
Not that flexible in my experience - they usually don't have to be.Originally Posted by nate

Usual stuff, new Panerai's come out, ADs phone up their preferential buyers, they then sell them on to the grey dealers before the end of the day, AD gets a sale at RRP, buyer gets a few hundred quid and blowers make a bit more.
In all honesty i'm bored of Panerai, same with ADs, they've been doing this dance for a long time now, with all the 'premium' watches.
Panerai's distribution system (to use that term in the loosest sense) is pretty ridiculous; get talking to some of the ADs about it and their head steam soon flows. You're right: it serves some people very well though, who can make money out of the scarcity of some models. We should all stage a boycott, but then we see a PAM that gets the pulse racing....
That's my experience too. They have massive visibility on Google too so I'm pretty sure they are busy all day long.Originally Posted by Chris_in_the_UK

I really quite like that 305
I contacted them about discount on a watch they had, 200 pounds off was all the movement on something that was more than 1k over list :?Originally Posted by ggill

Prices on nice watches and cars are going up again and they are moving!
Wow. Nothing is moving at over list where i'm looking. But of course Panerai prices on the "rare" stuff has always been a bit naff. "oh, it's limited". Right.
;)
How much does the rubber bezel guard cost I wonder? would anyone seriously use such a thing?
